Bottom Line

Microsoft Azure AD is almost a no-brainer for anyone deploying Microsoft Azure widely. With support for on-premises integration and synchronization, it is gaining traction as an SSO solution for large or small organizations.

Product Description

Microsoft Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) uses an identity as a service (IDaaS) delivery model. It includes Azure AD Connect to support on-premises directory integration and synchronization. Additionally, it includes Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) as an option to support single sign-on (SSO), but AD FS has also been widely deployed on its own for many years.
